$1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Purchased in Superior

The Wisconsin State Lottery announced at Saturday's Powerball produced a $1 million winner from a ticket purchased at a Kwik Trip in Superior.

According to their press release:

The lucky player matched all five numbers (10, 17, 18, 43, 65) not including the Powerball (13). Those winning numbers came from a ticket sold at the Kwik Trip at 3027 E. 2nd St., which will collect a $20,000 retailer incentive for the sale.

If you purchased a ticket for the February 2, 2019, Wisconsin Powerball, double check your ticket.  The $1 million winner has 180 days from that drawing date to claim their prize in person at the Wisconsin State Lottery’s Madison office.

It'll hopefully be an extremely lucky day for someone in the Northland as the odds for winning the $1 million Powerball prize are 1 in 11,688,054.
