On Wednesday, July 27, Duluth Mayor Emily Larson gathered with Duluth City Councilors, American Red Cross, Salvation Army, CHUM and 211 to announce that 211 is the number to call if you need help recovering from the storms.

On her Facebook page, Mayor Larson announced, "if the days without power depleted your food supply and you can't afford to replace it, call 211. If you need help collecting or chainsawing tree waste, call them. For any personal needs that relate to the storm, this is the number for you."

She went on to add that if you, or a group that you are involved with, can help others recover, 211 is the number to call to put your volunteer skills to use.

Please share this information with those you know who are struggling or are looking for ways to help the community.
