A Man’s Body Was Found In A Swamp Near Proctor

On Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 a man's body was found near the intersection of Ugstad and Stark roads close to Proctor, MN.

According to DNT, Sgt. Wade Rasch said members of the St. Louis County Rescue Squad had to use specialized tracked vehicles to access the difficult terrain to find the body.

The body was found by the Canadian National rail yard in Proctor. There were no signs of foul play according to Rasch, but an autopsy will determine a cause of death. This is an ongoing investigation and we will update when more information comes available.
