The other evening after a nice date night, we stopped at Super One Foods by the mall to do some shopping for the annual Friendsgiving that we attend.  Buffalo chicken dip and taco dip were requested as our contribution and we needed supplies.  That brought us to the produce department where I noticed a sign that I hadn't before.

You can see the display pictured above, letting parents know they can grab a piece of fruit for their kids.  Being late in the evening options were a little sparse and I'm guessing apples normally appear in the bottom basket.  Now maybe other places are doing this sort of thing, but this was the first time I had seen anything like it.  While it probably doesn't cost them much,  it's nice to see an area business doing something positive and healthy for children and the gesture is huge in my book.  Have you seen anything like this at other establishments?
