The University of Minnesota Medical School and College of Pharmacy on the Duluth Campus have partnered again for Chainbreaker 2018 to raise money for cancer research with a 5K Run & Walk.

On Thursday, September 6, you'll have the chance to walk or run the trails at the UMD Bagley Nature Center while supporting the AHC North Peloton Team, with 100% of the proceeds going towards cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center.

You can bring the kids too as there will be hot dogs available and a family friendly scavenger hunt.

Participants will check in at 5:30 p.m. and the event begins at 6:00 p.m.

I personally like the later start times on events like this as it usually assures cooler temps, and having it at the UMD Bagley Nature Center is a fun touch.

The cost to register is just $10, with a registration deadline of Thursday, August 30.  You can follow the link below to register now.
