The recent video of a man being forcefully dragged off a United Airlines flight has caused a viral internet sensation. From outrage and backlash directed at United Airlines CEO, Oscar Munoz, to the company stock plummeting on Wall Street, things are not looking good for United. Passengers being bumped off and compensated for their flights is nothing new. Some airlines do this practice way more than United, it's in the way it was handled that's making headlines.

But, it makes you wonder, why does my ticket cost this much when this person next to me bought their ticket for X amount less? Where is your ticket money going?

I myself haven't been on a plane in quite some time, I now dread the thought of booking that overpriced ticket, only to possibly not make it to my destination. I've heard too many horror stories about airlines. Not to mention the TSA...
