In the old days, Axl Rose would sound off in interviews and from the stage, but now his vitriol seems to be exclusively reserved for Twitter. With the midterm elections coming up tomorrow (Nov. 6), the Guns N' Roses singer has once again turned his attention to the Trump administration, blasting "shitbags" behind the President's campaign for exploiting a loophole that allowed them to use "Sweet Child O' Mine" at a political rally.

In a series of tweets (seen below), Rose scolded the campaign, clarifying that Guns N' Roses, along with other artists, have "formally requested" that their music not be used at any Trump-related events. One tweet read, "Unfortunately the Trump campaign is using loopholes in the various venues' blanket performance licenses which were not intended for such craven political purposes, without the songwriters' consent. Can u say 'shitbags?!'"

He did, however, find irony in the situation, taking delight in the fact that Trump's supporters had to listen to "anti-Trump" music, though he noted that this notion is likely lost on many supporters.

Rose demonstrated the awareness that GN'R fans exist across the political spectrum, acknowledging the "you can't choose your fans" adage, stating "we're good with that." With that sentiment out of the way, he continued his tirade against Trump, who he said "will say and do anything with no regard for truth, ethics, morals or empathy of any kind," also touching upon the President's ideas of real and fake news.

The singer also called upon the nation to "wake up" and put an end to the "nonsense" before we "pay hard" later on.

Last week, Axl Rose urged voters to "vote blue... bitches" as he mailed in his mid-term election ballot.
