I don't cook ham too often, in the past my recipe was basically brown sugar on the bottom of a crock pot, the ham, and a few pineapple slices and more brown sugar on top.  That ham was good, this recipe I found before Thanksgiving is even better and more moist.

I spent a hour or so looking for a ham recipe online and now I can't find the exact one again.  There are several variations so I will just give you the information on the one I made most recently and it's pretty simple.

We purchased a smoked ham, small enough to fit in an average size crock pot.  I took a cup of packed brown sugar, 1 can of Coke, and 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard.  You bring  that to a boil until all the sugar is dissolved, then pour it over the ham facing down in the crock pot.  Then take another cup or so of brown sugar and cover the ham with it.  Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.  That's it!  You'll get a juicy, flavorful ham.  You may need to remove some juices as it cooks, fyi, keep an eye out for that, don't just set it and forget it.

What's your favorite ham recipe?
