Newly appointed Mayor Emily Larson kicked off her "City Hall in the City" listening series, where she'll gather with each City Councilor in each of their respective districts.  "Being out in the community, in places where neighbors gather, is in keeping with the values I campaigned on. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with residents and hearing what’s on their minds. The best part of Duluthians is that they’re willing to share it," says Mayor Larson.*

It was held along with Councilor Jay Fosle at the Gary New Duluth Community and Recreation Center. All residents are welcome to attend these events, and meet individually with the Mayor. This is not a, "raise your hand" question and answer type of forum, just so everyone is clear. If you have a question, you may want to email her office ahead of time, or get there early and be prepared to stand in line to ask your question. The materials that were laid out for the residents at this meeting, were regarding the St. Louis River Corridor Project. This initiative covers a wide range of projects and a vast time frame. Although a location has not been designated yet for the next meeting, it has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 16th, with Councilor Zack Filipovich.
