As Halloween approaches, the search is always on for family friendly things to do in the Northland.  Thanks to the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department, you can add another event to your family calendar.

The public is invited to a free "Boo Bash" open ice skating party on Wednesday, October 26, from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Essentia Health Duluth Heritage Sports Center, 120 South 30th Ave West.  This an all ages event and costumes are encouraged.

According to the city, there will be live DJ music, face painting, haunted locker rooms, spider-ific experiments, and treats.  They would also like everyone to bring a non-perishable food item to donate.

This is the perfect opportunity for Scrammy to dust off his Dorothy Hamill costume.
