College of St. Scholastica Becomes New Leader in School with Most UMAC Jerome Kruse All-Sport Trophy Awards
The Saints of the College of St. Scholastica claimed a new honor in winning the 2012 Jerome Kruse All-Sport Trophy. Beside the honor of earning the award itself, the Saints have now are the school to have won the award the most times of any team in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference. This year's win marks the 8th time the team has won the award.
The Jerome Kruse All-Sport Trophy is given to the college with the most points accumulated by the place finishes of the college's athletic teams in the final standings of 18 conference sponsored sports. The Saints won the award in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
