The Minnesota DNR has been busy informing all hunters of permit areas where testing for Chronic Wasting Disease is mandatory.  However, if you harvest a deer outside of one of these areas, and want to make sure the deer is free of CWD, there is still testing available. 

You can have your deer tested by submitting a lymph node sample to the University of Minnesota's Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.  They will perform the test for a $10 fee.  Click here for complete testing details.
