Dig Through Your Closet And Gather Your Shoes To Donate To Soles4Souls With Grandma’s Marathon

Clean out your closet now while you support Soles4Soles! If you plan on coming to the Grandma’s Marathon, Essentia Fitness & Health Expo on Thursday, June 18 or Friday, June 19 at the DECC, bring a pair or several to donate.

Your old shoes may just be old shoes to you, but to someone in need, they are a treasure.  They will be used to fight the human tragedy of global poverty.  During the 2015 Essentia Health Fitness & Health Expo, Grandma’s Marathon is hoping to fill the beds of two Toyota Tundra trucks provided by Kari Toyota of Superior with new and used shoes to help change the world, one pair at a time through Soles4Souls.   You'll find the trucks parked in Pioneer Hall at the DECC during the Michelina's All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner and Essentia Health Fitness & Health Expo.

The shoes that are collected over the Marathon weekend will be used internationally through Soles4Souls, an anti-poverty organization that monetizes used shoes and clothing to create sustainable jobs and fund direct relief efforts.  Can you help?
