Downtown Duluth Craft Beer Destinations Announce Birth of ‘Brewer’s Row’
Duluth’s robust, and growing craft beer scene features dozens of places that serve up locally and regionally brewed beers. Among these businesses is a coalition of seven Superior Street establishments in Downtown Duluth banding together to call themselves “Brewer’s Row”.
While it seems as though Duluth and St. Paul are in a battle over the title of “Minnesota’s Craft Beer Capital”, Duluth’s “Brewer’s Row” plans to promote Duluth and particularly Downtown Duluth as the destination in Minnesota for enjoying craft beer. As these businesses get ready to promote the downtown craft beer district, prepare to hear the term “Brewer’s Row” more often around town.
So, which establishments are part of Brewer’s Row?
- Dubh Linn Irish Brew Pub
- 7 West Taphouse
- Blacklist Artisan Ales
- The Blind Pig
- Carmody Irish Pub & Brewing
- Fitger’s Brewhouse
- Sir Benedict’s Tavern on the Lake
These businesses are marking the formation of Brewer’s Row with an inaugural Brewers Row Poker Pub Crawl on February 18. While organizers have already announced they plan to make this poker event an annual happening, this is only one of what will likely be several activities held through the year to highlight these businesses.
