I have seen the Foo Fighters several times in the past and one thing that seems to be consistent is how much energy and effort they put into each show.  Last Thursday night in St. Paul, the last show on their US leg of the Concrete and Gold Tour, they kept that consistency.

From the second the lights dropped and then exploded back on, The Foo Fighters gave it their all, playing plenty from their latest album, making sure you caught the classics like "Everlong" and "My Hero", but also providing us with a cover of Tom Petty's "Breakdown" and Queen's "Under Pressure".  They even combined Van Halen's "Jump" and John Lennon's "Imagine" in a way that worked very well.

The Foo Fighters rocked St. Paul for almost 3 hours with Dave Grohl promising to return to do it again.  My tickets were a birthday gift and you can't give gifts much better than that.

Did you see Foo Fighters on this tour run?
