Former Minnesota Vikings Head Coach Brad Childress has a new gig, in a new league, he is now the Head Coach in the Alliance of American Football.

The AAF announced this week that it will launch one of their 8 teams and Atlanta and that's where Childress is going and former NFL QB Michael Vick will be his Offensive Coordinator.

The AAF, which is backed by former Viking Jared Allen, is set to debut its 10-week season on February 9, 2019.

As the Vikings Head Coach, Childress went 39–35 and was 1-2 in the playoffs. Childress spent last season with the Chicago Bears as an Offensive Analyst.

The brain behind the AAF is Charlie Ebersol, he's the son of longtime NBC Sports executive and original XFL partner Dick Ebersol.

According to reports, the AAF will have no TV timeouts, limited commercial breaks, no kick-offs and the 8 teams will be entirely owned by the league.
