Veterans across the Northland, as well as their families, are invited to attend the fourth annual free Veterans Expo at UWS on Tuesday, April 25.

The Veterans Expo will be held on campus in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  It's a great resource, benefit and education fair for veterans and their families.

According to organizers ,the evening will include the history of TAPS and a flag folding ceremony. Remarks will be made by Jim Paine, Douglas County Vice Chairman and newly elected mayor of Superior, and UW-Superior Chancellor Dr. Renée Wacher. The keynote speech will be made by Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs Secretary Daniel J. Zimmerman.

The will also be more than 30 local, state and federal agencies that serve veterans on hand along with free refreshments and parking.
