It's time to put up your Christmas tree and picking out a real tree is always a treat for the family.  This year, your tree can also help kids fight cancer.

Organizers, including Rodney and Sue Holmes in Wrenshall, Minnesota, are donating proceeds from Christmas trees sold to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  This amazing facility works to keep kids cancer free all over the world.  The protocols developed there have helped kids right here in the Northland.

Get the family together and head kitty corner to 3030 Highway 23 in Wrenshall.  You'll see signs pointing you towards the Christmas trees.  You're invited to call 218-348-4492 for directions.

You can donate right at the Holmes' tree farm or you can drop off a donation at Harold's Service in Carlton, located at 309 3rd Street.

They will also be hosting a family day on Saturday, December 8 from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. when hot chocolate will be provided and there will also be people available to cut down your tree for you.
