Grandma's Marathon is known to bring in people from all over the world, but how many countries are actually represented?

The 2016 Grandma's Marathon is going to bring in contestants spanning the entire globe. 38 countries are set to be represented in this years marathon. The United States leads the way with over 9000 runners entered from the 50 states. Every state has multiple runners in the marathon with the exception of West Virginia, which has one lone representative. Minnesota will have over 5700 participants in the full marathon on Saturday.

You will see people running that span from teenagers to grandparents in this race. There's over 50 registered runners that are over the age of 70 for the full marathon. Not surprisingly, the biggest demographic for age is the 19-34 demo with over 3600 runners competing.

If you are planning to attend the race, be sure to check out the finish line in between 9 and 9:30 am. That is the window for the approximate finish times for 1st place for both men and women sides of the marathon.
