Add another food product to the recall news:  Jimmy Dean Brand "Heat 'N Serve Original" sausage links are being voluntarily recalled due to metal fragments that have been found in a few packages of the product.  According to the product website CTI Foods - a co-manufacturer of the Jimmy Dean Brand pork sausage links is recalling 29,028 pounds of this product in an "abundance of caution".  No injuries have been reported at this time.

Here are the specifics:

Approximately 2,845 cases of this product were produced at one plant location on August 4, 2018. Each package bears the establishment code M19085 or P19085, a “use by” date of January 31, 2019 and a UPC number of “0-77900-36519-5.” Cases containing the product are marked with the lot number A638216800 or A638216801.

Customers who believe that they have some of the involved product in their homes should contact the company by calling 1-855-382-3101.

As of right now, 21 states are involved in the recall.  Both Minnesota and Wisconsin are included as states on the recall list.
