Some Oklahoma State fraternity members got a welcome surprise to their flag football roster on Monday night when Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant showed up for the game.

Durant tweeted on Monday saying, “This lockout is really boring. Anybody playing flag football in OKC. I need to run around or something!”

After a student responded that he had an intramural game, Durant drove to Stillwater for the game. “I had sooo much fun at Oklahoma [State] playing flag football! Shout out to my new buddy @goverbey for inviting me!” Durant tweeted later.

Word spread around campus during the evening that the NBA star would be on hand. So, unsurprisingly, 500 people turned out for the game. See Durant in action, below:
