The Vikings don't want the street outside their new stadium named after a division rival, the city of Minneapolis doesn't seem to care, for now.

The Vikings wanted to rename a portion of Chicago Avenue to "Vikings Way," but the planning commission unanimously rejected their request last night according to the Star Tribune.

It sounds like the city is looking for something in return before they agree to name change, you know, you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. In the end, I have a feeling that the Vikings will get their way, pun intended.
