Coming off a season where they surprised everyone with their success, the Minnesota Twins look to do even better next season.  Plan now to get things rolling early with TwinsFest at Target Field.

The Minnesota Twins and the Twins Community Fund today announced that TwinsFest will run from Friday, January 29 through Sunday, January 31, 2016, providing Twins fans with exclusive and intimate baseball experiences throughout the course of the weekend.

As the largest annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, TwinsFest will feature numerous new interactive activities and behind-the-scenes fan experiences that celebrate Twins baseball and Target Field. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, December 8 at 10 a.m. Ticket sales will be capped for each day and a sell-out is expected. Tickets will cost $20 for adults and $10 for kids 14 and younger.

While continuing the popular player autographs, photo opportunities, sports memorabilia and collector’s show, TwinsFest at Target Field will return many feature elements from the inaugural event in 2014 including increased player involvement, special panel discussions, self-guided clubhouse tours, yard sale and the chance to take batting practice in the Twins batting cages. The Twins Boardwalk area will once again allow fans to interact with their favorite current and former Twins players in a variety of competitive activities. Additional interactive activities include BINGO, reading with Twins mascot T.C., Fan Feud and velocity testing in the speed pitch cage.

New to this year’s event, fans of all ages can participate in human foosball, giant Jenga and Twins Jeopardy. In addition, Sunday will be themed as Kid’s Day, with more activities and opportunities geared towards children.

TwinsFest attendees will also have the option to purchase a “white glove” tour of the Twins Archive Room and have the opportunity to enjoy signature food and beverage options which have made Target Field baseball’s best dining experience.

As in years past, more than 60 current, former and future Twins players are expected to appear throughout the course of the weekend.

This event is a lot a fun and if you haven't attended it yet, go for it this time.  I want to go just to play human foosball!
