FOX Sports North and the Minnesota Twins released the 2019 television broadcast schedule and, for just the second time in Twins history, all 162 games will be televised.

FOX Sports North's coverage begins Thursday, March 28, when the Twins kick off the season at Target Field against Cleveland.

This season will feature six games against the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox and the Washington Nationals will make their first trip to Target Field.

FOX Sports North will carry a total of 160 games, while ESPN will cover the two remaining games:

  1. Wednesday, May 1 vs. Houston Astros
  2. Wednesday, July 24 vs. New York Yankees

Having all 162 games televised is great news for Twins fans and, according to the FOX Sports North press release, it'll provide an all-star broadcast team:

Emmy Award-winning play-by-play announcer Dick Bremer enters his 36th season in the booth with an impressive lineup of Twins alumni, including National Baseball Hall of Famer Bert Blyleven and four-time World Series champion and 2018 National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Jack Morris, along with ‘87 Twins World Series champion Roy Smalley, former Twins standouts LaTroy Hawkins and Justin Morneau as well as Twins Hall of Famer Jim Kaat, who previously broadcast Twins games from 1988-93.

If you decide to catch some games at Target Field, remember there are plenty of theme nights where you can score some free gear.
