The Minnesota Vikings continue to make some off season moves to help the team take the next step and today they added two big pieces.

Adding some talent and competition to the offensive line was a priority of the team going into this season and by signing G Alex Boone they did just that.

Boone spent the last six season with the San Francisco 49ers; he was an undrafted free agent in 2009, and he spent that entire season on the practice squad. The 28-year old became a full-time starter in 2012 and had appeared in 77 games, with 59 starts.

New Vikings Offensive Line coach, Tony Sparano, was with Boone in San Francisco in 2015 where he served as the Tight Ends coach.

The Vikings also reunited LB Emmanuel Lamur and Head Coach Mike Zimmer; they were together in Cincinnati where Lamur has spent the last four seasons.

During the Bengals 2015 season, Lamur appeared in all 16 regular season games, earning two starts and recorded 32 tackles, 3 PDs, 1 FF and 0.5 sacks. He also has appeared in two playoff games with Cincinnati earning one start collecting 10 playoff tackles.
