The President of the United States visited Duluth on Wednesday, June 20.  The rally at Amsoil Arena represented the second time that President Donald Trump was in the Twin Ports within the last two years; the last visit - at the Bong Airport in Superior - coming just a few months before the 2016 election.

The last time a sitting President visited Duluth was when George W. Bush held a rally at the Duluth Arena on July 14, 2004 - 14 years ago. Prior to that visit was one that then-President Bill Clinton made in November 1994.

According sources, Amsoil Arena holds just under 9,300 people in a concert setting.  All of those available seats were filled with hundreds of additional people standing in the aisles.  Meanwhile, there were also hundreds of additional standing-room-only people on the arena floor near the stage.

Whether you agree with his policies or not, it's not every day that a U.S. President visits the Twin Ports.  If you were at the rally, missed it, or are just curious - check out the photo gallery for a look inside.
