In 1997 Sevendust hit the commercial scene with their self-titled debut album and it's 20th Anniversary is this year.  The first song on it, "Black" punches in like a hammer and sets the tone for this raw, not over produced album.  It then continues on with "Bitch" giving us the first real listen to Lajon's amazing vocals, be it screaming or singing, he has the voice. I remember the first time hearing that whole album, it was in my best friend Luke's basement...well, his parent's basement.  Since then after seeing them more times than I can count, what Luke says about a Sevendust show still rings true,  "Every day Sevendust comes to town is the best day of my life".  From seeing them in small venues with 50 people to seeing them at huge festivals, it doesn't matter, they bring it every time they play.  If you haven't seen them before, make it a priority to, you won't regret it.  Most of the tour stops for hearing this whole album live aren't close to here, but you can catch them at Rockfest in Cadott, WI on July 15th and get your face rocked off there.
