Stone Temple Pilots Have a New Lead Singer and a New Song [AUDIO]

Stone Temple Pilots is one of my all time favorite bands.  One of my least favorite is Linkin Park, so when Chester Bennington took the lead vocal position I was not pleased.

The boys in STP have recently announced their new lead singer, Jeff Gutt.  He has been around the music scene for a long time and more recently was a contestant on X-Factor.

The new single is ok, Jeff certainy can pull off the Weiland sound.  What I appreciate is how humble he has seemed in interviews as he comes into the roll.  Acknowledging he is not here to replace Scott but to carry on the legacy the band has built.  I can't wait to see what kind of muisc these guys can make together.
