Superior Choice Credit Union, American Red Cross Hosting Community Blood Drive

God forbid you or a family member are ever in a position to need blood, but if that is ever the case it's great to know that there are blood donors throughout the community willing to take the time to help others.

It's in that spirit that I encourage everyone to participate in an upcoming community blood drive.

Superior Choice Credit Union and the American Red Cross will host the drive on Wednesday, October 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Northland Chapter of the American Red Cross, located at 2524 Maple Grove Road in Duluth.

According to the Red Cross, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative and B negative.
