CrossFit Duluth will be hosting the 4th Annual Memorial Day "Murph" Event, Saturday May 20th starting at 9AM. This organization is dedicated to showing appreciation to the men and women who have served our country. "Murph" was Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy Seal, who was killed in action in 2005 in Afghanistan. Each year they pick a charity to benefit. This year they are once again going to team up with the 23rd Veteran, this is a local non-profit that's dedicated to helping our veterans leaving the military to transition into civilian life. The mission of 23rd Veteran is to empower Veterans to lead successful lives.

So, if you think you're up to this challenge, here it is. $35 for registration gets you in plus 1 free t-shirt. First heat starts at 9:30 sharp.

The "Murph" consists of:

  • 1 mile run
  • 100 pull-ups
  • 200 push-ups
  • 300 air squats
  • another 1 mile run
