The Bitch Slap is Back

The original Dynasty TV show starring Joan Collins, Linda Evans, Heather Locklear, John Forsythe, Diahann Caroll and many others, ran from 1981-1989 on ABC. Every week was a cat-fight feast for the eyes between Krystal and Alexis Carrington. These two gave some of the best slaps ever heard on primetime TV. Dynasty is returning to the CW for a re-boot of the classic series. No official date has been announced yet, it will just be in the line-up for the 2017-2018 season, but it will be made by the same producers that made Gossip Girl, The O.C., Jane the Virgin, and Revenge.

All I can say is, back in the day, this show was epic. Coupled with Dallas, these shows were powerhouses of TV. I hope that the new version can do the original justice. The new female actresses had better sharpen their claws...
