The Minnesota Vikings continue to make some impressive signings in the off-season, today they added another piece to the defense, veteran safety Michael Griffin.

Griffin has been in the league since being drafted in the first round in 2007 by the Tennessee Titans. He's played in 141 career games with 133 starts.

Griffin has been selected to two Pro Bowls, recorded 912 tackles, 25 INTs and seven sacks in his nine years in the NFL.

The veteran isn't guaranteed a starting role, but should help create some competition for the spot opposite S Harrison Smith, who should get a nice payday and a shiny new contract from the Vikes soon.
