The Minnesota Twins announced exciting news for Prince fans with not only another cool Prince Night at Target Field, but also a full Prince merchandise partnership.

According to TwinsBaseball.com, they and retail partner Delaware North Sportservice have a new partnership with Bravado, Universal Music Group's industry-leading merchandise and brand management company and exclusive branding and licensing partner of the late Minneapolis icon Prince.

This means that beginning this season, unique co-branded merchandise will be available exclusively at the Majestic Twins Clubhouse Store at Target Field.  Fans will be able to purchase co-branded Prince clothing, pins, patches, baseballs and many other items beginning on the Twins Home Opener against the Seattle Mariners on Thursday, April 5.

Also planned this season is a second annual Prince Night, scheduled for Friday, June 8.

Prince Night will feature cool incentives for fans, including:

  • The first 10,000 fans to Target Field will receive a limited edition purple inflatable Prince guitar (pictured below). Immediately following the seventh inning stretch, fans in possession of the inflatable Prince guitar will remain standing and illuminate their guitars for a special moment in remembrance of Prince.
  • Fans who purchase a separate Prince Theme Night package will receive a co-branded Prince/Twins purple hat.  Fans must purchase the special Theme Night package to receive the hat.

More details will be announced closer to June 8.  Follow the link below to get updates and to purchase Prince theme night ticket packages.
