UMD Men’s Hockey Team To Throw Out First Pitch At A Twins Game In May

Fresh off winning the 2018 National Championship, the University of Minnesota-Duluth Men's Hockey Team is getting the honor of throwing out the first pitch at an upcoming Minnesota Twins game in May.

The team announced Monday on social media that the team would be part of the pregame festivities for the Tuesday, May 15 game against the St. Louis Cardinals. The game has a scheduled 7:10 first pitch, and is also a promotional night that may be of interest to healthcare professionals. Aside from being the night the Bulldogs throw out the first pitch, it is also Scrubs Night, where individuals with a valid ticket purchased through this promotion will get a set of Twins-branded scrubs pants.
