UWS Hosting Saturday Morning At The Races For Kids

Tied in with Grandma's Marathon, this event will gives kids a chance to get some of that stuck inside cold weather energy blown off and it's free!

Registration for this indoor run will start at 9AM on Saturday, January 26th, and races will start at 10AM.  It's for kids 14 and under and there are different distances depending on age from 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, and 1/2 mile.  Kids will also have the chance to meet the school's mascot and will receive a free t-shirt.

For this it is important to remember that no street shoes will be allowed in the facility's track area, that includes kids and parents, so plan accordingly.  It will be held in the Lydia Thering Fieldhouse at the Marcovich Wellness Center, located at 1810 Catlin Avenue at UWS in Superior, WI.  More information about this and other Grandma's Marathon events including the youth ones can be found on their website here.
