Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker signed a new law allowing switchblade and other concealed knives.

It has been illegal to make, transport, possess or purchase a switchblade for decades in Wisconsin until today. Assembly Bill 142 allows all those things and it also bars local governments from enacting knife regulations stricter than state law.

Walker said in a statement, "Wisconsin citizens have the fundamental right to defend themselves and feel safe and secure in their homes and we remain committed to protecting those rights."
