Only ten "All-Pro Chefs" are going to be invited to the Kids Tailgate Party during the ten days of events surrounding Super Bowl 52 next year in Minneapolis. They will be invited to make their signature recipes for three celebrity judges later this month, the judges will then announce a Super Snack Challenge MVP at the Kids Tailgate Party. The winner will receive $25,000 to donate to the charity of his/her choice.

Three of the winners are from right here in the Northland!

Here are the local winners and their healthy recipes, you can try them out for yourself.

Daijon Compere, a 13 year old student at East High School.                                 Daijon's recipe is called Parfait of Flavor:

INGREDIENTS

3 cups fat free yogurt
2 tsp. vanilla extract
8 Walnuts
10 Strawberries
8 Blueberries
10 Peanuts
 
INSTRUCTIONS
 
1.       Mix vanilla extract with yogurt, add walnuts and peanuts.
2.       Mash up fruit and add it on the yogurt.
3.       Surround mixture with fruit.

Elijah Harding, an 11 year old student at Lincoln Middle School.
Elijah's recipe is called The Perfect 12 Mix:

INGREDIENTS
 
12 Chex
12 Almonds
12 Honey roasted peanuts
5 Cinnamon apple bits
15 Popcorn
20 Sunflower seeds
 
INSTRUCTIONS
 
1.      Mix all nuts together and cut up apples into bits.
2.      Add cinnamon and then don’t mix the apples.
3.      Get something like a spoon to eat it with. I don’t like hands in my stuff.

Mar Kelle Schlosser, a 14 year old student at Marshall School.                             Mar Kelle's recipe is called, Banana Toppers:

INGREDIENTS
 
1 cup banana slices
1/2 cup of grape halves
1 container blackberries
 
INSTRUCTIONS
 
1.       Cut a banana(s) in medium slices until you have 1 cup and lay them flat on a plate.
2.       Get about a 1/2 cup of grapes and cut them in half.
3.       Place the halves on top of the banana slices and a blackberry on top of each grape half
