Yeah, so it's cold this weekend around the Twin Ports.  Getting out to ice fish for a good cause isn't so bad in cold weather with the right gear though.

On Saturday, February 6th, from Noon-4:00PM the 56th Annual Fisharama Ice Fishing Fundraiser will be happening on Amnicon Lake.  It's $5.00 for adults to attend and only $3.00 for kids 12 and under.  That's a small price to pay for some possible big prizes you can win.

There are cash prizes for three categories of the longest live fish caught, so Pan Fish, Northern, and other legal fish.  There will also be a 50/50 contest and other prize drawings while you fish.  You will also be able to get in on the annual cash raffle too, with prizes of $500, $250, and $100.  The parking lot will be right on the lake, and there is an unlimited fishing area to choose a spot in.  They will even drill the holes for you if you request it.

This great annual event is put on by the Tri Lakes Community Center and they would really appreciate your support despite the cold.  Keep in mind that masks do need to be worn when interacting with volunteers and social distancing is not possible.  They will of course be following CDC, State of Wisconsin, and County mandates to help keep everyone as safe as possible.  You can get more information on Fisharama HERE.
