A north metro computer company donated 100 laptops to a high school in the area since teachers and students are now conducting school on line due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The company called Firefly is a K-12 technology company based in Arden Hills. The company donated 100 Chromebooks to Brooklyn Center High school last Friday.

A spokesperson for the company spoke with WCCOcbslocal.com and said "We want to make the shift to remote learning as stress-free and worry-free as possible for schools, so we decided to help one of our local schools in a big way.",

These Chromebooks will help these students have more access  to achieve the schools academic goals and not fall behind other classmates. The company is challenging it's competitors with the hashtag #OutGiveCorona. They are hoping that more companies will step forward and assist students during the pandemic and social distancing.
