Adoptive, Foster, And Kinship Families BBQ At Lester Park

I don't have kids, nor do I foster any, but I have a lot of friends and even family who have either adopted or chose to foster children.

On Monday August 12th, 2019, All Duluth area adoptive, foster, and kinship families are invited to a BBQ at Lester Park.  The pavilion near the playground is reserved for the event.  There will be hot dogs, chips, fruits, and cookies.  If you do have a certain food that better suits the needs of your family, feel free to bring that with.

The event runs from 5:00PM-7:00PM and in addition to the food will include lawn games and water balloons.  You are welcome to drop in anytime during the event.  Questions on the event can be directed to Amy Kinney with the North American Council on Adoptable Children by email at: amykinney@nacac.org

Lester Park is located at 61st Avenue East and Superior Street in Duluth.
