I was born in Duluth and raised on Steve Martin comedy and Jello Pudding Pops, the latter was responsible for my Jabba The Hut Phase in 6th grade. My only surviving schools are Grant Elementary (Go Grizzlies!) and UMD (Go Bulldogs!), having attended both Washington Junior HS (Go artsty apartments!) and Duluth Central HS (Go, empty building Duluth leaders screwed up with!). Radio has always been in my life with my dad programing WGGR and later doing The David John & Granny Show. My first job in radio was in college with John Michaels and a fun crew at KZIO and I have stayed in it ever since. Working with the amazing staff at B105 is only topped by all the cool listeners I get to meet along the way. Look for me playing volleyball or running the Gary Bjorklund Half Marathon or random 5Ks. If you do, make sure to say “hi” and we’ll grab a beer.
