Do you think you have what it takes to show off the Twin Ports to tourists? Does the North Shore's beautiful landscape never get old to you? Well, you just might be qualified to be a tour guide entertainer on Lake Superior's only hospitality job on the lake!

The Vista Fleet has job openings and has been recruiting for its summer workforce. They've posted several openings for just about every position in the fleet. Some of the jobs are on the boats and there are even some job openings on land.

• Refreshment Deckhands
• Banquet and Event Deckhands

Wages start at $15.00 an hour. Applications can be submitted right through the Vista Fleet's website.  

I found a pretty cool story too about how some people have made a career out of working at the Vista Fleet. Northern Wilds did a nice story on Captain Amanda Swanson who started off as a deckhand out of high school in 1999. She loved the job so much that she got her captain's license in 2005 and has been piloting the 78 foot Vista King. It's not something she anticipated ever doing but once she got her sea legs there was no looking back.
