The Bentleyville Tour Of Lights is preparing to open for another season, but before the lights go on you can try a new brew created in honor of the popular attraction.

Bentleyville announced a special fundraising event at Bent Paddle Brewing, located at 1832 W. Michigan Street, beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15.

At the event, they'll officially release Bentleyville Christmas Cookie Cream Ale, which is a Scandinavian spritz cookie inspired Cream Ale with Vanilla, Almond, and Cardamom.  The festive brew will also be on draft at Northland Grandma's Restaurants starting November 23rd.

Grandma's Saloon & Grill Canal Park will be donating a portion of the proceeds of their Bentleyville Christmas Cream Ale sales directly back to Bentleyville.

The beer release and fundraising party promise a full night of activities.  Here's the schedule:

  • 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Bentleyville Beer Release Fundraiser featuring Holiday Mail for Heroes card signing
  • 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - MPLS Bluegrass String Band Steam Machine
  • 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. - Hip-Hop Holiday Themed Blingo with The Crunchy Bunch

The evening will also feature a card signing pop-up with American Red Cross Minnesota Region.  You'll have the opportunity to hand write Bent Paddle + Bentleyville sponsored cards which will get mailed to our local active military and veterans to thank them for their service this holiday season.

The Bentleyville Tour Of Lights will be open to the public the evening of November 23.
