A variety of frozen, ready-to-cook stuffed chicken breasts are involved in a nationwide recall due to salmonella concerns.  The food product - manufactured and processed by Serenade Foods is sold under the Kirkwood, Milford Valley, and Dutch Farms brand labels at Aldi.

The U. S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a Public Health Alert in regards to the products.  As part of that release, the agency specifically warned of the link between the affected "frozen, raw, beaded, and pre-browned stuffed chicken products" and salmonella.

The FSIS collected product sample in conjunction with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. The agency has been working with the "Centers for Disease Control and Prevntion and public health partners to investigate a multistate outbreak of 28 salmonella Enteritis illness in 8 states - with onset dates ranging from February 21 through June 28, 2021".  As part of that investigation, "unopened intact packages of raw, frozen, breaded chicken stuffed with broccoli and cheese were collected from an ill person's home and tested positive."

Here's a run down of what specific brands are included in the recall:
