City of Duluth to Repair Downtown Water Main Break Tuesday

If you're traveling downtown Tuesday, January 28, be on the lookout for City of Duluth crews out on the road to repair a small water main break.

According to the City of Duluth, crews will doing the repair on East Superior Street between 13th Avenue East and 14th Avenue East. This one-block stretch of road will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

While this will slightly impact downtown Duluth travel, water service is not anticipated to be effected at all during the repair.

Also, remember if you're planning on walking the Lakewalk this week, there is a section closed through this Friday, January 31, so that new lighting can be installed.  That work is being done at Leif Erickson Park, to the bottom of the Portland Malt Shop stairs.
