It is the season of giving back and here is a great and simple way to do so. The Cloquet Police Department and Fond du Lac Police Department have teamed up to host a toy drive for the Christmas season.

The "Stuff The Squad" toy drive will take place on Wednesday, December 16th. The toy drive will start at 4 p.m. and will continue through 8 p.m. The drive will collect new and unwrapped toys and games. They are also seeking new and unwrapped sporting equipment. Target ages range from newborn to seventeen years old.

The two different locations you can drop off toys at include the Cloquet Walmart store, located at 1308 South Highway 33. The second location will be the Cloquet L&M Supply, which can be found at 620 South Highway 33.

If you aren't able to make it in person to drop off toys, you can also drop them off at the Cloquet Police Department. They are open to take donations Monday through Friday during the week from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Cloquet Police Department is located at 101 14th Street.

COVID-19 policies will be in place. You are able to place the toys right into the squad car yourself and officers working the event will be wearing masks. Social distancing will also be enforced.

All of the toys collected will go to the Cloquet Area Salvation army toy drive. This will be the fourth year that the toy drive has happened. Let's help make the fourth year the best yet!
