Crystal Hefner is a Playmate, a singer, a TV personality, and a newlywed; if her last name looks familiar, there’s a reason for that.

Crystal and Hugh Hefner were married this past New Years Eve, as if we needed more proof that Hugh Hefner is the luckiest man in the world.

Crystal was born in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where her entertainer parents worked at an England-themed amusement park. Shortly after she was born, they returned to England, and eventually settled in San Diego, CA, where she spent most of her childhood. Her father was the late singer/songwriter, Ray Harris.

Crystal studied psychology at San Diego State University, and during that time she began modeling. She was discovered by Playboy. She was first featured as ‘Co-Ed of the Week’ on Playboy.com in 2008 under the name ‘Crystal Carter.’ She also appeared in two seasons of E!’s reality show, ‘The Girls Next Door.’

In 2010 she began her musical career by signing a contract of Organica Music Group. She just released her second single, ‘True Harmony,’ which is available on iTunes.
