Dairy Queen Has Announced 5 New Blizzard Flavors Just in Time for Summer!

Dairy Queen has an abundance of frozen treats to cool you down on a hot summer day, but the popular favorite seems to be the Blizzard. It made its debut in 1985, and it would go on to sell more than 175 million in the first year alone. No wonder, they, are, the, bomb... So, without further a due... the new flavors are: (insert drumroll here)

• Cotton Candy
• Frosted Fudge Brownie
• Salted Caramel Blondie Brownie
• Triple Truffle and,
• Best Chocolate Cake

The very first Dairy Queen opened in Joliet, Illinois in 1940. The Blizzard was put on the menu in 1985 and the World's Largest Blizzard Treat was build (not made) in Springfield, Massachusetts in 2005. It weighed in at over 8,224 pounds and was a whopping 22 feet tall! That would make for one big case of brain freeze.
