As they continue to prioritize safety of all guests, the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center has announced it will be testing out a new bag policy for the Five Finger Death Punch show on Thursday, December 12.

According to their press release, the following bag limits will be in place:

  • Small bags such as a clutch purse or wristlet that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the arena.
  • Clear totes made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”, may be carried into the arena.
  • Re-sealable, clear plastic storage bag no larger than 1-gallon may be carried into the arena.
  • Medically necessary bags, including breast pumps, are permitted and subject to inspection.

Item check will not be available at this event. Guests with bags not meeting the guidelines will be asked to return them to their vehicle.

Prohibited items include but are not limited to: weapons of any kind including pocket knives, professional cameras, outside food and beverage, purses larger than a small clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, strollers, computer bags and camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.

This policy will not be in effect for all DECC events at this time. It is only being used as a trial for the December 12 concert. In the event the policy is implemented permanently, this policy would apply to major concerts only, and more information will be made available if that happens.
