Don’t Forget Administrative Professionals’ Day This Week

If you have a job, there is a good chance you have some sort of administrative professional in your life.  The term covers a range of titles from secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals.

Their duties extend far past phone answering, from greeting clients, scheduling appointments, even the stuff you might not think about like ordering office supplies and making sure there is coffee in the break room.  They are often given duties that extend beyond what they were actually hired to do, working hard to make your work day easier.

Administrative Professionals' Day is observed yearly and that probably isn't often enough.  I just wanted to share this reminder to not forget the administrative professional in your life this week as the day falls on Wednesday, April 24th.  Generally administrative professionals are given cards, flowers, chocolates, and lunches, but I'm sure even a nice thank you of any sort will be appreciated by them.
